The die is cast

Well, this is my first excursion into the blog-o-sphere. I've decided to try playing a play-by-forum or play-by-blog board game.

So for the foreseeable future, this blog will have turn-by-turn results of a D&D Adventure System board game, with several of my friends as players.

The scenario if of my own design, and I am one of the players as well. How can that be you say? Well, the D&D Adventure System has an AI (artificial Intelligence) system to control the "bad guys", so essentially it is everyone against the game, not everyone against the game master.

I have all the basic information about the scenario written down, but as to how it plays out, we'll just have to see.

So, without any further ado, here is the scenario:

The two children of the Duke have been kidnapped when returning from a family outing. You have been hired to rescue them and punish the perpetrators. Rough-shod boot prints of various sizes lead away from the smashed and burning traveling coach, off into the forest.
Place your Heroes in the Start area of the first tile.

And the merry band of misfits:
1) Quinn - a male human cleric, played by me

2) Wen'keor - a male dragonborn fighter, played by my son William (he is using the Arjhan character that comes with the game, maybe for the next adventure we'll design a new dragonborn fighter for him)

3) Raistlin - a male human wizard, from the Dragon Lance series, played by Noah. This character is a fan-made character I found on the Board Game Geek site dedicated to this game series

4) Immerial - a male eladrin (high elf) wizard, played by Eric

5) Keyleth, a female elf paladin, played by Howard

6) And lastly, a sixth hero, Bruenor Battlehammer, played by Bruce

As you can see, we've started around the wreckage of the coach. .
Here are everyone's starting powers and the magic item or bonus they randomly start with.

Bruce still needs to pick one more Utility power, but other than that we're ready to start.
